Маgic square matrix 3x3 is laid together in a stamp collector's album by coloured postage-due stamps issued in the Netherlands when "total football" was in vougue - in 70-ies. These stamps were used to make the sums paid for the postal services more precise and cost from 1 to 8 cents. The graphics of the numbers is very characteristic to the time, and fanciful interwoven ornament refers to baroque style of XVII, when the Netherlands were flourishing.
It is easy t see that the row of the numbers in not full - the "9" is missing. But does it really matter if there is "6"? Turn 6-cent stamp upside down and here it comes, the magic square.
